League teams round up

It’s been a tough start to the season for last year’s three promoted teams.

The Ladies’ team have lost three and drawn one of their opening four Division 1 fixtures and were unlucky not to record a win in their 6-6 result against Marsden.

The Men’s A team are adjusting to life in Division 1 against stiff competition with four defeats from the opening fixtures. Matches are closer than results would suggest and they pushed Thongsbridge B all the way, narrowly missing out on a draw.

The Men’s C team have also suffered four straight defeats since promotion to Division 4.

In stark contrast, having narrowly missed out on promotion by 1 point last year; the Men’s B team currently sit top of Division 4 - undefeated with three wins and a draw.
